Boat was running fine, two weeks later I can't get it to run over an idle.

At first if I let it run at idle for 15-20 minutes I could get it to take off and plane out, but after about 20 seconds it would start to bog out and would die. If I could get it to restart it would miss badly and will not run over 1500 rpms. It continued to get worse until now I can get it to run at all or even fire. When I pull the plugs they are very wet. I am thinking the plugs may be completely fouled out and thats why it won't run at all.

I completely drained the gas and put in new, and changed the plugs. I checked the compression and I have 2 @ 105lbs, 1 @ 110lbs, 2 @ 115, and 1 @ 125lbs. This hasn't changed since last summer so even though they are a little low I don't think it is the problem.

It is a Loop Charged OIS motor.

Thanks for any help.

I've been chasing what might be a similar problem all year. so far no solution found.

If you get this fixed plase post the solution.
I'll do so as well if I can finally get my boat going reliably.

You need to make sure that you are not running out of gas. I just river tested my 150 yesterday and tried to get it on a plane(after running down theriver and then coming to a stop(intentionally)). The motor bogged out on me but idled after I pulled back the throttle. I realized there was no fuel in my bulb. I pumped the bulb and the motor ran perfect. So, make sure your motor is getting adequate fuel. Uor plugs will be wet from idling. I know, I just checked my plugs today after idling on the muffs. It was running perfect on all cylinders and the plugs were wet.

I am getting plenty of fuel. I am guessing that I have a bad power pack. Problem is nothing seems to test properly.

Have you tested for spark yet? I know you did compression but spark may help point you in the right direction. I replaced my powerpack this summer on my 150. Symptoms are a little different sounding but may still be the problem.

Spark seem kinda weak, is there anyway to truly test is and not just see if it looks strong enough.

Also if it is the spark that is weak where should I be looking, it seems to be all 6 cylinders that have a weak spark.
