At idle she runs at about 155 to 160 ..
When you give it a little gas she drops quickly to about 125 to 130. I was looking at other posts and was wondering if this was to hot for this motor. I have been on the water only about 6 times with this 130. I purchased it used and was told the water pump was about a year old.. Should i replace the impellor if so is this something i could do?

One last question at WOT the RPM's are at 5500.
Is this about right for Boat and prop pitch??

Thanks in advance.. when in doubt it wouldnt hurt to replace water pump,t-stats & lower unit lube.
-
book says 130hp is rated @ 5500 rpm.
full throttle operating range is from 5000 to 6000.

My 95' 200 Ocean Runner would idle at 140-145, as soon as hit the gas, drop below 120. Fouled plugs, bad gas mileage, wouldn't idle for long, hard to re-start.

I replaced the thermostats and blow off valve, now it idles at 150, and 155 at WOT. Runs great now. Cost me like $55.00 in parts, very easy to replace yourself.
