replacing an old Quicksilver 3000 control box with a teleflex CH1700 series. Have a 98 or 99 Mercury 150 XR6. Before I left this past weekend I looked at both the box connection and at the engine and noticed the control cable connection at the engine is threaded. I have been searching online for a cable that is threaded at engine end but I can not find a match. Did I miss something? Is there an adapter I am missing? Any help is appreciated.
