hi everyone, first time posting here.
I noticed last time out gas / oil leaking out under cavitation plate from two small holes each side of motor. Does anyone know what causes this leak and if i should be concerned with it. It has never leaked there before. the motor would bog down when i gave it full throttle that day and want to die, it would only run smooth at slow speeds. I was so bummed, the motor ran like a champ the prior time out. I had just put gas and oil in it prior to taking out and squeezed pump some on gas tank. It leaked when i brought it home and for a few days but is not anymore as it sits. Maybe this is part of reason it ran bad? Any Ideas what the leak is from? Oh yea and i bounced the motor hard when i loaded it into the water that day at the launch. no damage to the skeg or prop. but leaked from beginning that day.
