I just bought an 85 sunrunner a couple weeks ago, of course it needed some TLC. Has a mercruiser 140, Mercruiser outdrive. Im a heavy eqipment mechanic and there is not much I cant fix, but I have never owned my own boat before. Driven several as I used to reside in Alaska. I found this forum almost as soon as I got the boat home, and it has been spectacular in assisting me in getting the boat in shape. Had some issues on the first couple trips out, but the last one was awesome. The boat ran like showroom new and I want to thank everyone who posted the answers to questions I was looking for. Im very impressed about the knowlege here.
