Actually more then a couple. The first one is since I can't identify which engine I have 153 or 181. Lets say it is a 140 hp 153 cu. Would it still be worth me going to a 181 power wise. The 153 has no hours on it yet. The other question will 181 manifolds and risers fit on a 153. The final question is has anyone heard of a Pacific Mariner 19' closed bow boat. The sticker under the bow says hull made by Reinell but I can't seem to find any info in any searches yet. The boat was made in the 60's I believe. Thanks ahead for any info.

Re: a couple of questions

A 153 or 120 has a tin pulley on the crankshaft and a 181 or 140 has a harmonic balancer (cast iron) And yes manafolds of the same design will interchange--Bob

Looks like it's a 153. Whats the difference in a 120 HP and a 140 HP the camshaft. Is it worth it to upgrade to the bigger cubed 181.
