hi everyone , i am putting my fresh 175 crossflow powerhead on .well im pretty much finished .ineed primer line the small line from my primer line to my tee in the hose ,does anyone know what size it is it is small and needs to be gas proof ,can this be obtained localy at parts store .secondly after break in what kid of compression would be good for the 149 cid 175 fresh and warm i know all gauges read different and that 5% would be great between cyls .
just wondering what the stock 175 1983 crossflow pushed it has regular
brp head gaskets

I have never been able to find that small hose at an auto store, seems' unique to these engines'. I would say about 100 lbs. on compression.

thanks mr johnson thats what i thought will go to my boat guy and get one off of his many blown up crossflow he throws nothing away ,
havent run mota yet but after break in and final timeing check im going to run it good then check warm with new snap on gauge hoping piston choice and proper machine work by boat machine shop will give me the comp im looking for in the 100 range at 5% would be great if i get that im going to some gt heads and boysen then will problay run manual jack plate and try to get prop and height perfect would like to pull 5800 to 6000 every know and then its on mckee 1981 with smart tabs not performance hull but very durable thank you very much
