A fuel pump puzzle

Dear readers,

I have created a puzzle for anyone to try and solve. Please see attached pictures and try to match part 'A' with either part '1' or '2'.

That is my attempt above to save face and not admit I deleted the pictures I took before I removed my fuel pump and no longer have any idea how to put it back on.

The hoses from the block to the fuel pump are for pressure and vacuum to run the pump. Install them such that the hoses have minimum bends. This is likely front hose to inside fuel pump fitting, and rear block hose to outside fitting
