A little help on waxing

Hi Guys,
I own a 36' Silverton, and I am having a little trouble reaching the section forward of my bridge, above my windshield to apply the wax. Washing is not a problem since I can use a pole and wash mit. The wax takes a little more effort, and would never be possible using a pole. I am too heavy, 230#, to climb out on the eyebrow. Does anyone have any insight as to how they do this on their boats? Padded ladder, suction cup device, ... Thanks

I can reach mine but I've seen some maintenance outfits using stubby little 4 step (home-made I think) ladders with rubber soles on both ends. They lean them up against the dodger when waxing the taller boats. I might ad that one outfit in particular has hired what looks like... the Hooter's girls to do cosmetic portion of thier customers upkeep. Most owners sit on thier boats now while these scantily clad, tanned young ladies polish their wood.
I can't afford it.

I have seen a pole buffer with a rechargable battery. It was not cheap and it was 2 or 3 years ago.about $200 if I remember right.I think the battery pack clipped onto your belt with a coiled wire to the pole with a rotary buffer at the end.Sounds perfect for you.
