A little help please1989 150hp precision blend 25" wont crank

I just picked this beast up, its got good compresion and will eventualy make a great motor I just need a little more knowledge on its proper operating procedures.. I have 2 two oil resivours one mounted on engine and one seperate, all relative cables ie wiring harness's I tried cranking it with key on bench and it will only alarm out on what I assume is the oil level in tank mounted on engine the starter dose crank the engine when i jump the solinoid thats how i know there is good compression am i missing anything here or do i need to digg deeper into the wiring here? Is there a fault mechanism that trips out the start circut when alarming? jim d

First , you need to tell us the exact model number that is located on the data plate. It is also helpful to tell us what country you are in. If you have a 150ETXF model you can buy the original manuals directly from Yamahapubs.com. Is there oil in your oil tanks?

Sorry for the incomplete info here is what i have Moddle# 150ETXG 6G4 serial # 752934 United States Of America Connecticut... Oil tank was/ is empty on engine though the main tank is half full and was conected...
