A lot of water came out of drain plug?

I was out on the lake (winnebago) for quite some time today. Water was choppy for half the time out. along with on and off light rain.

When I got to the boat landing and pulled the plug, I would say about 2 liter or so of water came out. A lot more than what I thought considering the other 3 times I was out on different lakes there was 0 water in there. Normal?

Did you consider opening the engine hatch and looking to see how things are going, or do you just assume all is ok.
Did it rain in your boat?

Yeah it rained in the boat. A light rain on and off the whole time we were out, and some spray from the waves.

Im assuming all is okay since like I said, the other times I have been out there has been none. I dont know what engine hatch to open on an outboard...

Two liters is not really that much. You said it rained off and on.

Next time you go out(not raining), see what happens.

Set an empty bucket outside in the rain and see if it gets any water in it............ :facepalm:

I understand how rain works, I guess I just figured the carpet would soak up a good amount. and maybe I underestimated how much rain did gather. I wasnt really paying attention to that.

Normally I do not get any or very little water to drain, but when we had a day of tubing with soaked people getting in and out all day, I was surprised to see all the water drain out.
