A Pelosi-kind of view....

I'm thinking that Nancy Pelosi may be filling the "re-bound leader" role for the Democratic Party.

Hopefully, the Gore-Kerry-Conyer-Clinton [will he ever go away?]-Kennedyites are over the hill, and Pelosi is the interim person that bridges the gap between the old guard and some of the new Dem's a la Edwards, Obama, etc.

In any event, I hope the Dem's can find some legitimate leaders to carry out their ambitious agenda.

Jeez, A one term, do nothing who spent most of his term running for President, and a junior Senator who is yet to do anything much less complete a full term. There may yet be hope is this is the best they've got! :^

Funny that Edwards and Obama get mentioned in one breath. In a certain sense they are birds of a feather. Both were newcomers, both were pretty boys, both were prematurely pumped up by their party and now one has shown that he was but an empty suit. Only time will tell for Obama.

Best I can say at this point is that Obama speaks well, but like Edwards when it comes time for something important to be said by them.....well as I said, time will tell.
