this just started but the engine runs fine. if i am pulling a tuber say and they fall off or whatnot and i pull along side them and decrease throttle rather quick then shut it off. if i go to start it back up withing say a minute or two it jump and doesnt start. but then i can turn the key off and start it again and it start just fine. does anyone else force do this?

Re: a pop when starting warm.

I have a 88 Bayliner 125HP Force Outboard. I get the same thing happening when I try to restart after tubing. It is not all the time, mostly when trying to restart after only a minute. I have been on the tube when this happens and I notice a spray come out of the exhaust. I'm not sure if there was too much fuel. This is a question I was going to ask here. A liquid spray definitely comes out when this happens.
