A QUESTION OF POWER!

Hi fellow boaters - I have a 16 foot ski boat fitted with a 3.5 litre v8 engine which should produce about 150bhp. Last year i ran it with a 13*10 prop - it pulls really well but engine over revs at about 28mph which is too slow for skiing.<br />I have borrowed a couple of props, with a 13*13, top speed is now about 35 mph but she works v hard to get on the plane and i think with a skier she would struggle - would tuning the engine for more power help and does anyone have any experience/advice? thanks steve.

What kind of drive line ?<br /><br />shaft drive right to the prop ?<br /><br />What RPM are you getting with the props<br /><br />It should be a killer with that package<br /><br /><br />tommays
