Not far from the shores of Cape Ann you get some of the best fishing in the country. A very diverse fishery. Three people out fishing just eight miles off of Cape Ann for bluefin tuna hooked and boated a 11'-2" 400 lb. swordfish that took them 25 minutes to bring into the boat. Normally swordfish around here are found around the gulf stream which is 200 miles away.

Not that impressive, that's just an adolescent Swordfish.

Impress me with one of them hybrids that you think is a striped bass or any other big fish in your state waters. Them last pictures you had shown were no bigger then a large mouth fresh water bass.

Hybrids!:D:D:D

You should really study up on your temperate bass identification.

I don't see you posting any pics of the fish you catch, just other peoples fish... kinda like posing for a pic with someone elses fish.

Very impressive. We have caught many swardfish from Florida to the Carib and were never able to reel in a 400lbr. Being out of her normal range and taking only 25 mins to reel in gives me the sence to think that something was wrong with the fish. I've had expierenced anglers take that long with a 125lbr. I guess if the anglers were prepaired for tuna...they must of had some heavy line.

Nice catch!
