A Solid TellTale Stream Without Exhaust! I had to see what the telltale project was like. This was an easy project and will have ?A Great Advantage?! I?m really sold on the solid stream w/o exhaust mixed-in or showing. The previous owner of the 55 HP cover (on this 1970, 35 HP Chrysler) probably had a telltale. After drilling the approx 5/16? hole (on the closest side) I discovered or remembered one in the ?C? in Chrysler on the opposite side. I think I have less stiffness looking to my left. LOL JOW

Re: A Solid TellTale Stream Without Exhaust!

On the 1970, 35 HP Chrysler:

1.Remove the aluminum plug in the head by the thermostat.

2.Add an elbow to connect your telltale line to with a clamp etc.

3.Drill and extend the line out a side top or etc.

4. I had water pumping when I got my count to 1000 and 2 as my timer.

5. I?m not sure if all are this simple and c/n believe how simple this was.

6. My other option was to ?Tee? into the black hose but I wanted the rigid connection.

Good Luck! JOW
