My cousin Ron. A member of the Special Forces has made it back from Iraq. Says he's been asked to go back at the end of the year but doesn't know if he will go....says he needs time with the family....Wife and a little girl.

He's seen one tour of duty in Afganistan and one in Iraq. Interesting stories he brought back with some insight to the common people of Iraq.

Good to know he's home in one piece.

OBJ, I have a coworker that has spent all too much time in Afghanistan and Iraq. He too has some stories to tell about the things he has experienced. Things I never even thought about. Not enough room to go into it here but it aint all bad.

Glad To hear your cus. is doing well.

Thank you all for the kind words....I will make sure he hears them.

And you are right Flahthead...it ain't all bad. Talking to someone who's been there and comparing what they have seen to some of the threads here on the forums is very abstract. I guess when most of us only have second hand information to go by, ie....news media or some klutz trying to make a name for their self in the news game, it isn't surprising.

On the other hand, he also said...."When you think you've seen it all, you come by something that just makes you wonder what kind of a human being can do such things to another human"....

Well....anyways....he's home and safe....that's a good thing.
