Hi all!

I've been posting a lot of questions lately about the timing issues - now i discovered that A BRAND NEW DISTRIBUTOR MODULE was malfunctioning. It simply stopped working after i shut down the engine. It ran fine (at least i think) when the engine was cool & running, but when i wanted to restart the engine, there was no spark at all. I also had backfire, although i set the ignition to 0 deg TDC. I think the module didn't advance the timing when it supposed to, or it partly worked, partly not. WHAT A BUMMER!!!

I replaced it with and old module, now it works perfect. I barely touch the key and it works!

Still got a question that i posted a while ago:

The label says to set the base timing at 6deg BTDC. Does that mean in base timing mode or while running? If it means while running IDLE, how come that 6 cyl has base timing set at -4 ATDC? It doesn't make sense. If 6deg BTDC means in base timing, than that would bring up like 13deg while running (if i did the math correctly).

Any ideas?
