I am looking to buy a Yamaha 2001 9.9 hp high thrust motor that was left in storage at a marina five years ago with oil in it after it was used for perhaps 3 weeks. It still looks new. The marina put in a new impeller as the old one was stiff and cracked.The owner is now whereabouts unknown. The oil leaked out. It started quickly and it sounded very good. Do you think I should be concerned about this motor that was unused for so long. Thanks for the advice.
