My new-to-me boat has 3 batteries and a 1,100 watt inverter.

The boat comes with a microwave, fridge, stove and outlets around the boat.

I'm trying to figure out what is reasonable to use while not hooked up to shore power.

I can imagine that the microwave and the stove are a no-go if you're not hooked up to shore power. The fridge I understand might be able to be ok for a day (at least this is just want I heard from the prior owners).

I'm trying to get a grip on this so I can understand what might be usable while anchored. This was all prompted by my idea to use a blender for some cold drinks. I was thinking this would be OK, but really I'm trying to understand where "the line" is.

I know this is a subjective discussion with outside variables, but I'm just looking for some general feedback or information I can gauge my own decision on.

Stove needs to use some sort of fuel when no shore power. Most are dual fuel/electric.

Coffee pot can be used to brew, and then shut off.

Hair dryers use the most power of the small appliances.

Phones, laptops use small amounts of power. Stereos vary in power consumption from little to lots...

Have a reserve battery for starting engines.
