About that new Ford ad...

OK, I know it's been covered ad nauseum in these forums already, but I think that Chevy ad that pops up on the bottom of the screen must have been paid for by Ford. After all, if Chevy is dumb enough to put an ad like that on a website, it makes me wonder if they are smart enough to build a decent truck. I sure wouldn't want to buy one based on that ad... pretty smart marketing on Ford's part!

The only thing I look at on that very annoying pop-up...is the "X" to close it.

Chevy sucks even more with the idea of using such a retarded ad.

Have you seen the new Ford trucks though?? Wow, I am so impressed by them....Ford has really made a quality product.

It really should be put somewhere less annoying. Even if someone does look at it are they going to run out and buy a $40k Chevy? Most truck owners are loyal and will stick with their brand. They usually buy on a rotational bases. I run Fords and find the ad offensive to me. Shoving Chevy in my face every time I visit.

iBoats should consider the input from the members of this forum. They are risking the satisfaction of the members. I'm sure we contribute heavily to their bottom line with purchases.

We take a poll on everything else why not a poll on getting rid of the ad? I'm sure that will be to threatening. It may cause them to have to change the way they advertise. Pass that by the CEO and see what you get. The typical excuse would of course would be "someone has to pay the bills". Think about who would pay the bills if by chance there was a mass exit to a fresh new boating site.
