about to install hei distributor into 1989 351w.

im about to install hei distributor with new cables and new electronitc shift assist into 1989 351w. any advise before i start. should i up grade my spark plugs for this type of distributor . can i use the platnum four prong plugs or should i go with standard plugs.

You might be a little more specific on what type of distributor you're using. This is an MSD or Mallory MARINE type distributor? (HEI indicates some sort of GM/Delco dist)
