ac/dc refrigerators

I need to replace my ac/dc frig on my 270 searay. We boat a few times a month plus a couple of week long trips through the summer. I have heard to stay away from Norcold because they do not hold up. I would like to hear opinions on what type of frig I need.

I would go with D/C compressor only. No need for extra circuitry (If your connected to A/C your chargers should be running).

Due to the dissatisfaction principle, I would have hear it lot as to whether a particular product held up or not, or since you boat how many have you seen/know of fail?
