AC pulses from the stator 73 135hp johnson

trying to install techometer on this engine. not sure what setting to put it on. i think its 10 pulses. manual doesn't tell me

All of OMC's engines, including the 1973 135hp Johnson (your engine), emits six (6) pulses. Set the dial on the back of the tachometer to number six (6).

Thanks that did the trick. now maybe i can figure out my prop set up
