adaptor plate,why did thay make the small opening seperate from the exhaust pipe exhaust dump..into the midsection on a 1975,135,rude,, it dumps burt carbon onto the waterpump and ooozes black splooge out the drain holes all over the outside lower unit cavitation fins..is it for cooling? dam! i could have blocked that off and made extra water flow in there some where else.thanks all.. anyidea why?
