Not sure if you guys remember me, I've been slacking off lately ;). Switched jobs, bought a house and haven't had much time to do anything. The Holiday is still down the shore in good running condition, I just moved farther away from her. It's sad, don't really have many opportunities to get down there an take her out which is why I'm posting this. I've been searching for a small 12' vee hull that I can take on the small lakes and rivers around my house. Picked this old girl up for $650. I'm impressed with her condition. The motor is amazingly clean, for a 1969. It's really cool! Seems to run strong although I've only seen it running in a trash can.

The trailer is also in great condition!

The transom will need to replaced in the fall, it's the only sore spot of the boat. It looks like someone repaired it at one time with two separate pieces of wood. It's very solid, I just don't like how it's setup.

There's a VERY small leak by the drain plug, I actually think the plug is the problem. I'm gonna pickup a new one and plug the boat from the outside, like I do with the Holiday. That should do it, but we'll see.

The package came with the trailer, almost new trolling motor and battery, life vests and an anchor. It also came with a hand held fishfinder that almost made its way to the bottom of Marsh Creek Lake out of frustration. I'll pick another one up later...

Hell of a deal neighbor!! I am in King of Prussia.

Thanks! I'm actually in Downingtown now, about 14 minutes from Marsh Creek Lake. Have to update my profile. Is that a Tracker in your profile?

Yeah, it's a '99 Pro Team 175 with a 40 horse Merc. She's a good unit. Very dependable. By myself with a 1/4 tank of fuel she'll get up to 28, lol..

I boat on the Skuke year round, mostly out of Norristown or Phoenixville.

That's a great boat... A while back I had a brand spankin new ProTeam 185 Jet. Had a 175 hp V6 I/O jet drive. Man that thing was a beast. Hit 50 easily, but was horrific on gas! I fished those places too, and on the skuke by the Trooper exit on 422. The jet was great there, I could get way up the river. Could run in 6 inches of water. I still kick myself for selling that boat, worst decision EVER. Had it out in the Great Bay catching stripers, and even the ocean once.. On a very calm day... Was stupid, but fun at the time!

Re: Add another to the collection

The 30# trolling motor that came with the boat works, but is a bit underpowered. It's not ideal for the electric only lakes by me so I traded up. Bought a 55# this week and tested it out today. Not sure what happened to the video, I guess I had my phone up side down.. Anyway, top speed with the 30 was 1.5mph in calm conditions and .6 against the wind. The 55# got me up to 4mph exactly. Much better!

With the added power comes added drain on the battery. I bought another, the one on the bow, and will tie them together for longer run times.

Glad I went with the 55lb thrust motor! Went fishing this past sunday in 20-25mph winds... This video was taken pretty much at the exact same spot as the video above. Never thought I'd take spray over the bow of my 12' boat! Trolling motor was working hard, but pushed her through it fine. There was a few other boat not making any headway, another motor burnt up due to the conditions. It was pretty fun!
