Last week we had some motor work done on the Bayliner. Today was our first chance to test it out.
Go to the lake, go down the ramp, I push the boat out and over to the beach while my dad parks the rig.
We both hop in, and he tells me to lower the motor (No T/T)
I go over, and drop the motor down. Then I see the drain plug.
I scream (In my native language of Vietnamese) "Oh S*** Drain Plug Drain Plug!!!". I grabbed the plug, and went for a dive, completely ignoring the fact the water there was about 6' deep, Im about 5'5" and cant swim. I put the plug in handtight, climb onto the swim deck, grabbed the wrench, and tightened it.
We had water coming through the floor.
BTW The motor sucked. It kept stalling when we gave it gas.
