Adding a automix premix system question

I am adding a Quicksiler AutoBlend premixer to my bass boat. I have an '86 Merc 115HP Inline six. I know that it came from a boat using a 40HP Merc which is also 50:1. Would I be making a mistake expecting the correct gas flow for my 115HP?

The AutoBlend will work. WHY? they were junk when new, they burned up more powerheads than you could believe. I personal lost 2, still have the 2nd new AutoBlend in the box as I did not install it and my 115 is still running great
