Adding a battery and ACR

I am adding a battery and ACR from BlueSea - There is a 65A and 120A model ACR and looking for the charging current for my 1991 115 hp Mercury 2 stroke. Does anyone know?

Use the 65A model, your motor will not put out anywhere near that, I would guess around 20 amps maybe

Why are you installing one, if it's to charge up your trolling motor when running I don't see it giving you much

Just to isolate house and starter circuits and have a backup. Thanks for the info! Also - I ran a 2/0 battery cable 20' from engine to console. Is 2/0 adequate?

2/0 is more then enough
