Adding a below floor pole holder in a 1996 Lund Tyee Gran Sport 1850

So I have the side pole holders but I am wondering if its possible to add a pole holder below the floor between the consoles? I was hoping to purchase something like this - Lund Pole Holder.


Anyone know by default what is under the floor in the 1996 Lund Tyee's? I am hoping I can cut a hole in the floor and install this (with some hack and slashing) to look like a newer Lund... Something like the picture below. I am not concerned how the hatch lifts.


Just seeing if anyone knows what is below the floor (other than foam!) and whether or not this is reasonably doable...
