Boat has 10000 BTU older a/c , 30 amp
old style freon , Still working OK ( hope I don't jinx myself ) ,
On this boat manufacture installed single 8/8 vent , NO louvers , blows directly on me
10000 BTU is too much for a 28 footer , and cold down there ,
if memory is correct venting width is around 6 inches ,
Aft cabin has no vent , hot in there , Presently used as storage , but if it was comfortable in there , installing of additional tv , no reason why it cant be used as intended , Sleeping area
Aft cabin always feels moist ,
I want too add a vent ,
A/c vent is directly above aft and installing a small vent seems straight forward , have too add a junction box so new vent can be connected and let it flow air into aft cabin , Flaps too close
also while at it change vent so I can change air flow
Am i missing anything ?

Don't know how yours is set up but mine does use a small box and 3 inch hoes come off of it. It has one of the hoses (vinyl bilge type) comes in near the top of the aft cabin to a vent
