I have a 1989 Bayliner 2302 trophy w/a with a 1998 Mercury 225 EIF saltwater, 14.25x 17 prop, hyd. trim tabs, 140 gal. fuel tank (840 lbs.), 80 gal. bait tank (640 lbs.) and 2 group 24 and 1 group 27 battery?s (165 lbs.) one of the group 24 is for starter only. The other group 24 and 27 are for gps, f.f. bilge pump, bait tank pump and lights. I would like your your opinion on adding a 4th battery group 27 to the front of my boat in the cabin storage compartment. for coffee maker and cell phone charger only 12V. The question is will that be to much weight in front of the boat ? or to much weight in all? Will be mounted about 24? to the rear of bow eye. I will be installing an on board battery charger 3 bank.
