Hello I have a 1966 that is a pull start motor all the battery dose is run the lights. But because the motor is a pull start there is no generator or alternator that means I the only way the battery gets charged is if I take it out and charge it with a charger. I was wondering is there is any way to fix this problem I would like to add a radio to the boat at some point and really dont want to have to pull the battery every time I use the boat lol.

If you are within a hundred feet or so away from an AC outlet, leave the battery in the boat and take the charger to the boat. It and an extension cord are a lot lighter than the battery. A good deep cycle battery would not need to be charged after every use (although that will extend it's life) if all you are running are lights and a simple radio.
