Adding tilt/trim to a Yamaha 40

I have an 1990 Yamaha 40 hp without tilt/trim- ?good.? If I buy another Yamaha 40 with a blow power head for parts ?bad,? can I install the power tilt/trim on the motor bracket of the ?good? motor. Also, this may be crazy, but is there an better way considering the difficulty of dealing with parts for Yamaha trim assemblies? Could I install the ?good? power head on the case of the ?bad? motor that already has tilt/trim. Lower units are about the same on each motor. What seals and wires need to be transfered?
I have not purchased the blown engine yet, so I can not compare the two side-by-side and need some advice. Thank you.
