Adding trim to 280DP

As I understand it power trim was an option on some of the older 280dp outdrives? I just bought a boat with a 1984 280dp. it has tilt but not trim. can I bolt it on?

It's not a bolt on option. It's a completely different transom shield with trim cylinders and pump setup.
