Hi all.
I'm looking to rig up a temp sender on a small HP motor that doesn't have one from the factory.
I want to do a warning alarm, it seems as though a temp gauge would escape attention.
I'm having trouble finding the sender. I need a floating ground (I guess) type sender that will ground out if it reaches 180 or so. I plan on rigging this up to a warning horn of some type.
I have found some but they are all made for auto temps, looks like 220 or so to ground.
I plan on building a small bracket so the end of the sender will just lay on the outboards cylinder head.
Anyone do anything like this or have any ideas?
