My boat runs strong with a 19' aluminum prop. I use it for skiing. If i am about to about about 1000lbs and switch to a high five stainless. 19 pitch stainless should work fine? FYI i have a 5.7L

Really can't make any suggestion without your present max rpm and speed.
Need boat make size and type. Not sure what you are trying to do?
Boat needs to operate within its reccomended rpm range could suffer a premature failure if operated outside of reccomended range.
