I have an 89 Mariner 135 and I have a silver bottom mount quicksilver binnacle. I would like to adjust the shifting mechanism so that it will shift into gear (forw and reverse) earlier and at lower rpms. I have the SELOC manual for the motor but it really doens't help at all. Doesn't have anything on this binnacle mount. At first I thought potentially it would be a motor adjustment, but am not sure. The SELOC doesn't help there either.
