Adjusting the up travel on VP 270 tilt mechanism?

Anyone know how to adjust the up travel on AQ125A/VP 270 tilt mechanism? Mine stops about 1/8" from completely up. I'm afraid it won't clear the arm on the drive. Read the little snippet in the manual but really can't see where there is an adjustment.

No adjustment, Are you saying that when you lower the outdrive, the foot of the tilt mech. isn't coming off the arm?

I'm not sure whether or not the foot of the tilt ram is supposed to retract completely to clear the arm of the outdrive. I am in the process of resurrecting this boat and I'm ready to install the outdrive but before I do I want to make sure the tilt is as it should be. In the picture you can see about 1/8" protruding from the housing.

Looks normal to me. shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks Cap. Will be installing drive this weekend and will see how much clearance after installation.
