Adustment on the control box

How Do i adjust the control box.....she stays wide open ...but from about 4700 rpm if you let the control go she springs back to 3700 rpm... i need to tighten it but do not know where the control tightener is...it is a F150 2005 with a binicle "top" mount....Thank you

depends on which binnicle you have<br /> if its the pre-2005 704 box remove the 4 screws holding the plastic trim cover and at the bottom center you will see a slotted 8mm or so screw head. tighten it to tighten throttle friction, if you have the 05 and up there is a plastic cover and the lower rear part that you remove to access the tensioner
