Advice needed on 1990 mako walk around.

Ok folks thinking on going outboard after many years of inboards i ran across a nice looking 1990 23ft mako with a Yamaha 225 walk around boat and motor seem well taken care of, motor sound good and cranks right up. asking 7500 but dropped it to 6, deal or no deal, according to the book,, boat valve in fair condition 5400.00 trailer included float aluminum, full top and cover, standard electronics GPS Fish finder radio etc,

How has the boat been kept? Moored. slipped, trailered and covered, trailered and garaged?

What kind of deck finish? Gel coat or carpet? Carpet can hide some nasty stuff below it.

How's the boats overall appearance? Waxed and shiny with good vinyl seating or weathered and cracked/torn vinyl?

its on a trailer no carpet at all gel coat is a a little dull wood needs a little oil no soft spots, the owner has apparently taken care of the boat.
