advice on a wide coupler lock

I recently got a new enclosed trailer and it has a 2 5/16 coupler on it, I tried the yellow Reese inverted " U " shaped lock and it was not wide enough for the sides of the coupler, even though it says it will fit 2 5/16

also the lift latch is about an INCH wide and my normal boat trailer coupler lock will not make it all the way through the hole

need some ideas , my trailer is unprotected

I use the same style, and never had any issues, with many differant sizes. How much larger is it? They do make the paddle lock style in differant sizes also.

I measured almost an inch from side to side on the latch, I know I could just use a padlock, but I would think they made a coupler lock that can't be cut so easily :facepalm:

I need to take a few pics of it in the daylight today
