See frequent post on what to look for when buying a used motor. I dont respond as i am not that experienced or have the knowledge, until now. Ok, the motor appears well maintained, starts right up, and purrs on the muffs. Reach down and put your hand over the prop exhaust ( in neutral of course) and look for exhaust and water blowing out from under the power head. If it leaks there you will have to pull the power head<br /> If you decide to buy it there is one more thing you should do. Tell the seller you want to lower the gear box enough to assure yourself the shaft is not seized to the power head. This is very important as you will not be able to replace the pump or remove the power head. Then you have big headaches. Might not be to important on a small motor but mid to higher range could get quite expensive. regards fred
