Advice on impeller replacement

I just got a 9.9 hp johnson sailmaster Model J10SELCSE, ser#E5236694. I was told it needed a new impeller.

Is replacing the impeller a complicated task for this engine? I am somewhat mechanical and have plenty tools but not much experience with working on OB.

Also, is this a 1994 model?

Would appreciate any help you can give.

That model number is for a 1980. Here's a website that deals exclusively with your engine (& 15hp). Scroll down to the bottom for engine info.
