So I have a 17ft Sea Nymph aluminum center consul and it has a slow but steady leak somewhere.
It takes on a couple inches over night.
I'm wondering if there is a paint type product that I can coat the hull with that will seal the seams and rivet heads???????????????? Any advice on how to seal the hull would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Advice On Sealing Seams and Rivets on an Aluminum Hull

Sealing an aluminum boat is best done on the inside of the boat since exterior applications seldom work for long... if at all.

There are 2 epoxy type products sold for this specific application, Gluvit and Coat-it. If either are exposed to the sun they need to be painted over to protect from UV breakdown.

Since it sounds like you keep your boat docked on the water, it would be in your best interest to check your floatation foam for waterlogging/saturation. Wet foam adds a lot of weight to a boat and slows it down. Wet foam also isn't buoyant and won't float your boat in case of an emergency.
