can anyone tell me why our boat keeps bouncing on the water?
takes a while for the nose to come down then it keeps "porpoising" more than the other boats on the water last nite?
What difference do the fins on the engine make, with or without?

Sounds like your motor is trimmed out to far. Do you have tilt/trim? Need more info, type of boat, motor, etc..

That can be caused by hull design but more likely it is how youare trimming the engine out.

If the drive is trimmed out to much(lower farther from the boat) it tries to lift the bow but it is too heavy so it drops, this cycle continues until you trim down.(lower closer to the boat)

Try lowering your trim a bit when it starts doing that, tabs would probably help too but see if you can get it to go away by adjusting the trim first.
