I purchased a 1999 Eagle tandem bunk trailer (7000 Cap). The original owner towed a 1999 Maxum 2500SC. I have a 1998 SeaRay 250 DA and my questions are regarding adjusting the bunks properly. As the pictures indicate I have to move the two outer short bunks outward beyond the strikes. The boat appears to sit high on the trailer as well. I know if I open up the keel bunks the boat would sit lower. Any suggestions or if anyone knows of someone near Lake St Clair (SE Michigan) that does this type of work reasonably please let me know. I have contacted Eagle and they indicated that the SeaRay had a different style bunk trailer?

Ayuh,... Yer hull has a deeper V than the original...

Most any Welding Shop should be capable of the mods needed...
