has anyone ever had a problem with the mayfair livewell pumps. When I purchased my boat the cartridge was burned up so I replaced it last year. I tried using it this season and the only way i can get water to flow is by pulling the cartrige out, free flow water and then replace and turn on. I thought that maybe some sand had gotten in there becasue the water was pretty churned up. I then tried it again on a much cleaner lake and found the same thing to happen. I would pull the cart. replace and turn on and it worked great. shut it off and turn it on later to refresh the water and nothing until i pulled and replaced. It is a mayfair 500 gallon in line. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem or if i was missing somthing before I bought a differant style. Thanks
