I burned out the livewell aerator pump on my 1998 Glastron 185 Ski & Fish, HIN 14057E898. I removed the pump to find out replacement info, but there are no markings on the pump....?

Does anyone have any info for me regarding replacement pump model, size; transom hole diameter, etc.? I wrote to Glastron, but no response to date.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Aerator pump replacement

all you have to do is find on that has the same hose fittings, they're all12 volt. take it to walmart, west marine etc, look at iboats store, and match it up. you don't need someting to pump 750 gallons an hour. attwood, sea sence. etc.

Re: Aerator pump replacement

I just went through this myself Bob. There are only about 3 different configurations of the pumps. All that I saw had the the same size intake that goes out through the hull and the same size hose that goes to the live well. As tashasdaddy said just match it up and a 350 or 500 GPH is plenty. Be sure and install some sort of strainer over the intake if there isn't one already. The most common reasons these things die is they suck weeds and stuff into the impellers and jam the pump. You will more than likely have to cut the intake tube to length after installation.:)
