after market ehasut

There is an after market exhaust that uses the stock y tube and also goes through the transom.

Is this an advantage or just make more noise for those that like the extra sound above the water line?

I would think it is more of the more noise aspect.

I am planning to try and get a bit more hp from my 5.7.

Also anyone know good sites regarding engine modifiction?

If you're referring to something like a captain's call, then yes, there is a very slight performance increase from it.

Nothing to get too excited about, I think they advertise another 50 RPMS @ WOT as a typical increase in performance.
